My first visit to the University of Minnesota as a perspective student eleven years ago was the day after a Fleetwood Mac concert.
Guess what. Guess who I saw last night …… Lindsey, Stevie, Mick and John.
Totally blew me away. Teri and I walked, skipped, jumped and ran our way into the arena as Tusk was playing; unbelievable. Don’t Stop, Gold Dust Wom[y]n, Landslide, and Silver Springs were just a few songs played. Mick totally knocked my socks off with his loony, tripped out drumming tactics and little red shoes. Lindsey’s voice, incredible. John rocked it. And Stevie, amazing. A full set and two encores later even for an arena show, I was was not let down, not even a little bit.
The house was packed, mostly with…..the Minnesota nice who sit real still in their seats. WHO SITS STILL AT SUCH A SHOW?

I do. You are the reason I rarely go to concerts anymore. You "skip" in 9 songs into a set that cost most of us $250 to see, then you want to stand and dance or some such crap and can't understand why someone like me tells you to sit the F*#k down or I'll kick your ass!!!! Let me guess, you also spent a great deal of the night on your cellphone calling your moronic friends and shooting video for YouTube, right? Standing for 2 1/2 hours is not my idea of enjoyment, especially for a band like Fleetwood Mac, where it is a mellow vibe and you want to appreciate the music. I get standing through a band like Van Halen (which I did), where the music is cranked so loud it is just a wall of noise. Dance your ass off at that show. Fleetwood Mac? Sit the F*^k down.
Alberta,
Fleetwood Mac, stand the f*#k up!You, stay the f*#k home! Maybe he did stay on the phone, just like you are the one who sits on their fat a, and complains, nobody wants to hear it. You shouldnt be allowed to go to concerts unless its John Tesh or someone like that!
