Radio Legend Cerphe Colwell interviews singer/songwriter Stevie Nicks on ecoPlanetRadio.com
This is an interview from 2009?... ahead of the Fleetwood Mac show in Washington, DC.
(Thanks to the person that left a comment which clarified when this interview took place, except I'm still confused... She said "Last Night when I was singing Edge of 17". Edge of 17 wasn't performed with Fleetwood Mac in 09 - so that's why I think this interview had to have been prior to 09... or Stevie's lost her mind.)

I'm from DC and this interview is confusing. The DJ keeps saying I'll see you tomorrow at the Verizon Center show. When Stevie plays solo she plays at the Nisson Pavilion outside of DC in Virginina. And when Fleetwood Mac played DC in 2003 the Verizon Center was called the MCI Center. So this interview must have been in 2009, since that is the only time Stevie has played there since it's been called that.
And when she played solo in 2001 she stayed at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in downtown DC, which is right across the street from a firestation. It was the week after the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks and in the Washington Post newspapers there was an article that Stevie took baskets of fried chicken from her hotel to the firemen. And that is also when she started to visit Walter Reed Army Hospital.
It may be just a case of.... when you play shows...and alot of them ...you forget where you were and what show and what hotel because you are always going and sometimes you just do the show not even knowing the name of the venue... and if you have two bands...maybe she really did get mixed up or something.... it can happen ...
But is isn't Stevie who keeps saying she's playing the Verizon Center. It's the radio DJ who does. And Stevie does not sound confused in any way about anything.
Not only does she speak of performing EO17, but speaks of living in Phoenix. She sold her house there a awhile back.
