I don't know who wrote this, but it's very mean to write like that. Who are you Anonymous? I really would like to see your face, or.... maybe I don't, hmm!But for Stevie, she's in her sixties. And she never lied about that. She never wanted to be the pretty one, but we found her always so beautiful. She does care about a lot of other things then her beauty. And for us fans, how lucky we are to have her still touring, instead of staying home and hide for people like you!Oh, and I love make-up too, and you know what I also really need it. Just like al those other millions of people all around the world. And we all will look like our grandma one day. If we are lucky!
Ellen - the person above was not being mean - just stating their opinion. I think Stevie is beautiful as well - but there is no denying that she looks very old in this picture.
Oh no, to another Anonymous. Does anybody have a name these days? There was no denying, but the line about make-up whas totaly out of order in my opinion.
we all age...but not all under a microscope...ppl r only saying negative things because u can watch her age in an instant via videos or pictures...we've been looking at her for close to 40 yrs!! look at ur mother/father/siblings...WE ALL GET OLDER..bottom line..she is a woman in her early 60's and is still a beautiful woman..she doesnt look "very old" as someone said here..she looks like stevie nicks at 62 yrs. old..i thank God she is still with us..i find her VERY inspirational..i hope to God i look this good at 62..and i am still working...rock on stevie nicks!!
Well, as another Anonymous one, I think that even at 32, if someone took our picture, and we were looking down like she is in this picture... we'd look pretty bad.... make up, or not!!! NO woman wants her picture taken at that angle!!! And I agree with "Ellen"... I think the first person was being a bit tough on Stevie. Yes... we should all be lucky enough to look as good as she does... at ANY age!
Hey Ellen, my Actual name is Anonymous and I didn't mean to be mean about Stevie, I don't think she looks bad, however I do see that the pic of her doesn't look like she does on stage with all her makeup on, that's all. Her hands look like she's around 80 though!!
For goodness sake - this is a lady aged 60+years who looks fantastic with or without the make-up. When I get to 60, I hope I look half as good as Stevie does.
Stevie Nicks is a beautiful woman, make-up or not. This was shot in Australia last year?? She looks great for having been on the road with 4 wankers for almost a year!! She is one HOT WOMAN!! And I am signing as Anonymous because it is the only way I could post..
Stevie Nicks is a professional and a goddess of rock-n-roll and is beautiful no matter what. She can put on a show like no one else can, and I will always be a loyal fan. Rock On, Stevie!
There are several options for you Anonymous people to sign up to leave comments , so no excuses ! And i am 57 and this is pretty much how i look without makeup so when i see these pics i sigh with relief , knowing that The Queen of Rock is human just like the rest of us , and like fine wine getting better with age, Long live the Queen !
I just cannot wait for those making comments about how old Stevie looks to hit sixty plus. You sorry pups have some nasty suprises in store. You will get old no matter how much you believe it won't happen to you. Mine and Stevie's revenge is you will lose muscle, teeth eyesight and hearing. You won't be anywhere near the attractive you were at 30 and best of all there ain't a damn thing you can do to stop it. Time happens to everyone. Stevie is doing great for her time spent in the gravity field of the planet. My money says you yutzes will fare far worse in looks at 60 plus than Stevie!!!
Stevie Nicks looks great for her age. When u are a teenager or in your 20's u don't think about getting older. I remember getting "mouthy" with my grandmother about threading needles for her. I couldn't understand why she couldn't do it. I'm 45 and I'll be damned if I can see to thread one myself. So all you "mouthy" ones...Time waits for no one...If u are lucky...Keep rocking Stevie!!
I think her new album cover is ridiculous. Why try to look so young, when you're so old? it's not a crime to age. I think it does her a real disservice.
In the pic above, why does she have leg warmers on her arms?
The thing about Stevie Nicks is that she made a career out of illusion. Being outrageously photogenic, she could carry the illusory factor off well and for a very long time. The above photograph shows a woman in her 60's without the Disney effect. At first, it causes a bit of a pause, but then a camaraderie, that we are all, each of us, human. I do think she will end up being a caricature of herself, like Mae West, if she does this fairy tale thing much longer. It's time to resign to the Age of the Crone. There's a beauty and wisdom in that, too. I think Christine McVie proved that kind of grace in her retirement. Stevie Nicks is a testament to the strength of a woman, no doubt, but perhaps now is the time to compose her memoirs and devote herself to art and rose gardening.
Stevie will never retire! you may not see her to crititize the fact that she is not forever young, but she puts 150% into whatever she is doing and helps and the newbies. Shes loving and not a diva (She just can't be alone, they won't let her alone!) She's a lonely, lovely woman who maybe wishes she had a child. I dont' know, she said she doesn't but when everyone else is home for the holidays shes all alone. Can any of you give her the compassion she deserves. She choose music over Lindsey because Lindsey had a dark side and wanted her all to himself, and not in a healthy way. I don't think people get that. Stevie was so sexual and chrisimatic when young everyone flocked around her and he hated them for it. There's so much to it. But they loved each other very deeply... just so much it was distructive to Stevie because she's sensitive. If she wasn't she could never write the lyrics she wrote. OK I said what I believe to be true. Linda Tulley
I think you are silly Linda Tulley. Stevie Nicks is very close to her family. She's not alone for the holidays. It's fun to be a fan, but you are taking things a little too personal...for someone you don't even personally know. But I do think she still has a good stage persona...for as long as it lasts for her and more power to her for that.
You, your fools, you just waste your time in this kind of conversation. What is age? What is skin? What is our bloody or flash? What is our hair? What is all around us? It is just an ilusion! Wake up all of you, people! If you can be just 0,5 per cent Stivie Nick was in her life... You fools! Listen her voice, her music. It is enough.
I think Stevie looks fine here. The only difference I see is no makeup. I don't see a person trying to be something she isn't, ageless, or immortal on stage.
She looks fine - better than many forty years olds. People are so used to fake everything today they can't understand nor appreciate natural, elegant and ageless beauty.
I would like to see you look as good when you reach her age. And I pray that I do. She's a fabulous example of a woman growing to be a certain age without the need for having plastic surgery that pulls your face so far back your ears could meet. A woman should not be required to look 24 when she's not, and as a woman who looks younger than her age myself I don't see any point in an eternally youthful culture skip the botox skip the plastic surgery and be who you are supposed to be use comes from inside not outside, don't be so vain shallow and vapid!
I think she looks wonderful and more power to her and to every other woman who goes on your 4-year not aging but getting better and getting wiser! And if I see one more negative age comment from someone who signs themself as an onimus you really need to own what you think.
Well it is now 2024 and I ran into this mess of comments. My God,,, I want to start with the fact that being a musician and the front person is a very demanding profession. I never took it to her level because of the politics of it all. You have to love doing it, and I did as I know she DOES! RED ROSES TO THIS LADY!! She is and will always will be a rock and roll Queen.. period! And she was blessed with good looks and the inner soul of a true song, her own which shines out of her with makeup, or without it. I am almost 64 and I'm still doing O. K. Looks wise but that's not what music is about now is it!! Respect her strength and dignity as an artist, and most of all a human being who has given us all the beauty of song to get through our days.🌹❤️

Yikes, just goes to show how much makeup it takes to look as young as she does on stage!

Wow. She looks like death.
It's like Keith Richards in drag.
Well, she lokks better than madonna but she is ten years older
I think she looks cute.I love her.

Well if she still looked 20 I think we'd have proof of alien life. Grow up people. Everybody ages.
now i know why she covers her hands in gloves all the time. the hat is horrible. liked her in the -s though. oh well, we all rot.

not even close to a bad Stevie Nicks look a like. Go to the Tube and check out latest vids from 2012, HD, etc. This is NOT Nicks.
Get real, Anon December 25 11:16 AM. Ms. Nicks is over 60 years old. She looks like a woman in her 60's. Nothing wrong with that, but it is the truth.
