Just heard that the show at Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, IN (Indianapolis) has been canceled. Live Nation confirm
Stevie was scheduled to play Atlanta tonight but because of medical reasons (no specific info was provided) the show in Atlanta was rescheduled to Wednesday August 17th. This put the Indianpolis show in question all last evening as it too was scheduled for August 17th. Also both Atlanta and Indianapolis were showing up on Ticketmaster and Livenation with the same date.
Noblesville won't be rescheduled - which is odd given the under roof seating looked about 90% sold out. Maybe there were no other dates available at the venue that jived with Stevie's schedule.
Full refund at point of purchase.

This is really disappointing. I have been looking forward to this concert all month and had got 3rd row tickets.
ReplyDeleteWhy not cancel Atlanta and stay on the schedule? Atlanta must be more important than Indiana. I do wish her well but the proper thing to do would have to reschedule Atlanta. I guess I won't see her a 5th time. I guess rescheduling Indiana would be the least you could do. Larry Meyer
ReplyDeleteThis is the 2nd time I have had tickets for Noblesville and the 2nd time she has cancelled. After the tragedy in Indy Saturday night, this was a poorly thought out decision. Indy needed this show now more than ever. 2 strikes and your out. Sorry, but I won't be tying my $150 bucks up for two months again only to find out less than 36 hours both times that the show has been cancelled. She can re-schedule Indy if she wants to, but I won't be going to see her anymore. Good luck with your career Stevie, but pulling this twice on fans from Indiana is a pretty thoughtless thing to do. Looks like I will be going to see Miranda Lambert in Terre Haute now. Atlanta, enjoy OUR show. I've seen Stevie many times and wanted too at least once more before she got too old. Maybe that has already happened. But I won't get burnt again.
ReplyDeleteFive concerts have been cancelled in Indy in the last week because of the tragedy at the fairgrounds. Now Stevie pulls out at the last freakin minute. Boo! I thought she believed in Karma. Indianapolis does NOT deserve this. Thanks John Legend and Sade for coming in July and putting on a great show. True performers. Even if she did re-schedule, I would still want my money back, and be damned if I would go to all the trouble to schedule vacation at work to plan to go to another one of her shows and get bitten at the last minute. TWICE. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteSo in agreement with everyone. I am extremely disappointed that the promoters picked Atlanta to have our show. Stevie...love ya, but I am done getting exctited for your shows. Hope she feels better soon and is happy with the Atlanta show. Now....Live Nation...give me my money back!!
ReplyDeleteBeen a fan for 36 years and have burned vacation days and traveled over 2 hours to see her and/or FLeetwood Mac many times. This is my second solo Stevie show too that has been canceled. It sickens me to read fan reviews of her shows and how she connects and loves the audience. Too bad she stood up Indianapolis twice now.If that is all we get back for it then forget it. There are plenty of new acts that are actually turning out top 40 hits that will be in town. Maybe her day in the sun is fizzling. Never so disappointed in someone that I have cared about for so long in my entire life. If I didn't defend her to people who bad mouth her and say she is weird, I don't think it would bother me so much. Time to make some new favorites and let the old folks go rock in a chair.Sorry to all my fellow Indy people, but it's been a bad week for concerts. Need to find other artist to spend our hard earned shrinking dollars on. Stevie has enough I guess.
ReplyDeletewell fuck me! i have waiting on this concert to as millions have. come on stevie, please reschedule. we dont want a refund...
ReplyDeleteI received my tickets as a birthday present. Haven't seen Stevie live since the Rock a Little Tour (the last time she was here solo). It's been 25 years and we finally get invited to the party and now she cancels. I agree with others here: In light of Saturday night's tragedy it was a grave error in judgment not to mention taste.
ReplyDeleteYou know people... considering it is Stevie Nicks, just maybe she deserves a little better??
ReplyDeleteIf it was her decision to cancel, there has to be a good reason and I will wait to hear just what the reason is. There is a lot that goes into scheduling and many people involved. Like I said... considering it is Stevie Nicks, and how she feels about her fans, there is a valid reason.
D
It is pretty immature reading the rude, lashing out on here. Nobody knows Stevie personally, and I am sure she has no vendetta against Indiana.Attacking her age? Citing her recent lack of big top 40 hits? And other nasty comments are ugly to read. The west coast has no dates on the tour so far, and and I am not going to personally attack Stevie. Lots of mean people on here. Stevie Nicks, I love you! Ignore this hate.
