  1. OK her face just keeps getting noticeably smaller and more defined. Every couple of weeks you can REALLY see how much she is slimming down. Stevie is an immensely talented and beautiful woman no matter what size she is but damn she is OOOzing with smoking hottness and crazy confidence these days. So great to see she has found her center and is getting all this industry respect this late in the game. 63 is the new 43 "Stevie Baby"!

  3. I enjoyed this interview, even though I wanted to flash a sign to Stevie, "Lighten up, don't look so menopausal, and if you smile your face will not crack and fall off".

  4. It always makes me flinch when she talks about her money. It just doesn't seem appropriate.

It's something you discuss with close friends...but not in an interview that fans who pay to buy your CDs and attend your shows should ever be subjected to.

  5. I agree. She talks about her being rich in a lot of interviews. Stop it! We love you Stevie but don't turn into Donald Trump!

  6. Great interview & I love the closing of what has she learned..."That time passes and all the things in your life, they will come and they will go ~ and you'll be alright"....i really needed to hear that today. Love Stevie, such a beautioful soul!

  7. I think she spoke of money in context and with subtext, meaning a) the ability to attain material things can make you go crazy if you don't have self-control, and b) an older, wealthy woman has to be careful of a certain kind of suitor for obvious reasons. That's my interpretation, but I do understand gist the other comments. Seriously, can we really expect Stevie to see the world through anything other than a Rock Star lens, being as she is a quintessential rock star? At least she's not an annoying hypocrite like Sting, who lives a lavish lifestyle yet preaches austerity to his fans ("we can live here an be happy with less"/"everything we see we want to possess"). Just saying...

  8. great little interview and love her closing comment, I think I need to write that one down and hang on to it. I think the money comment was just a fact that it's hard to find a guy that's not intimidated by it, and that she feels she needs someone who won't exploit it or be impressed by it as it's probably led to problems in the past....she's just so amazing!

  9. I have no problem with the money comment. She is being realistic. It is hard to find a sincere man who can deal with her lifestyle without thinking he is in it for the money. I don't blame her, she wants sincerity and purity of heart, no different from any other woman. At least she is true enough to express her fear and not keep it locked in. Give her a break, people.

  10. I guess it's simply an american thing to be proud of money you've earned. If someone talked openly like that about money here in Scandinavia he or she would not be very popular. However, we who love her shouldn't mind whatever she choose to say about her well-deserved fortune. Rock on Stevie!
