I heard Stevie was also performing at the Susan B. Komen Gala on Sept. 28th at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, honoring Breast Cancer research. Don't know if it's happening or not.
ReplyDelete^^ Don't think so... Jordin Sparks is booked to perform the event.
ReplyDeleteStevie always shows up and gives back - that one of the many reasons we love her!
ReplyDeleteGo Stevie!! NOW if she would just book a few WEST COAST SHOWS!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry, but screw yet another Mac reunion tour.....unless Christine McVie re-joins, which is NOT going to happen... I would rather see a TRUE Buckingham Nicks tour next year to commemorate the release and re-issue. That means Stevie, Lindsey and NO Mick Fleetwood....
Go Stevie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh he would be hot if that happened (mick)but that sounds good with me too. maybe waddy could join the buckingham & nicks since he was worked with them both in 1971 til the fleetwod mac days in 75.
ReplyDeleteStevie and LL Cool J..... boo-yeah!
ReplyDeleteMaybe on the FM tour next year they will all play some BN songs...although IMO the BN album is a little overrated lol.
ReplyDelete$750 may seem like a high price to 'start' the tickets at, but keep in mind it's for Cedars. Also, every song SN performs will have an 'Edge walk' so everybody attending is guaranteed to touch Stevie's hand at least once during the performance. The 'Landslide Walk' will be the most emotional, the 'Annabelle Lee Walk' will be dedicated to D&H. She'll twirl in the aisles during the 'Stand Back Walk' which will only allow for cape touching. Don't worry about tearing it, it's durable, give it a good tug. There will be some wires on loan from Caesars so Stevie can fly over the audience numerous times during her performance, and lucky attendees also will be able to touch her footware. It's a bargain, SN has been in incredible voice for most of her shows this year, and this time it's all for charity, so I hope to get one of the $2500 tickets.
ReplyDeleteStevie will also get to marry the Cedars doctor of her choice for performing at the fundraiser, even if he's already married- all doctors wives have agreed to let Stevie have their husbands if that's how she wants it.
I love charity. ''Where have you been?''- just waiting.
Miss Stevie Nicks is working so hard this year, 2012 maybe has been the most demanding solo touring of her entire career. Well; not 'Tusk,' but that wasn't solo. I'm pleased, and proud of her, always.
Love to all fans, even the mean ones. Love also to the crazy ones- not that I'd know from crazy...
Stevie flying over the audience, ha ha! Good one!
ReplyDeleteStevie Nicks is performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, but not on Sept. 28th for the Susan B Koman Org. She is performing on Sept. 8th as a part of "A Celebration Of Science" three day event. The concert is hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, John O'Hurley, with performances by Stevie, Melissa Manchester and Kenny Edwomds.
ReplyDelete"In Your Dreams"
ReplyDeleteI'm just guessing but I believe Stevie and Lindsey will do one intimate show to showcase the Buckingham Nicks CD. Perhaps if they feel demand warrants a tour they may do some shows but I think 2013 will be the year of the MAC.
