"Tonight, I've got Lindsey Buckingham's girlfriend," said Grohl when Introducing Stevie Nicks

Dave Grohl's Sound City Players Debut at Sundance Film Festival

And then Stevie. Oh, Stevie. As cooky as you are with your sunglasses on inside of this low-lit venue on this blackest of ice-kissed nights, your voice is heart-melting mana. Grohl agreed. Before she came out, he explained her Sound City story, in which Mick Fleetwood asks the studio boss for Lindsey Buckingham's info so he can offer him a place in the Mac, and the boss explains that he'll have to let LB's GF in the band as well. "Tonight, I've got Lindsey Buckingham's girlfriend," said Grohl before trading lines with her on "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around." Her bewitching quaver brought the room up a few degrees — we noted at least two coat removals during their insanely smooth rendition of "Dreams" — and though the darkly droning Johannes-assisted version of "Gold Dust Woman" was a triumph, the show's greatest moment came just before that resonant close. Suddenly the 12 people onstage became two, and Grohl picked up the night's first acoustic guitar to accompany Nicks on her first big hit, Fleetwood Mac's wistful, weather-appropriate "Landslide." Their duet nearly silenced the rowdy crowd, now four hours deep into their drinks, and even inspired the bathroom attendant to abandon his post and film with his phone. The lines about getting older could've felt literal, but Grohl's era-spanning musical circus of badassery and general excellence made the point that good music: a) is timeless, b) defies genre, and c) is always waiting in the wings — as each of his headliners were at one point or another — for fresh context and a new crowd. Great pictures of Stevie! She's still a beautiful woman.
I believe she wears her dark glasses because she has an eye that tears up all the time. I am sure the bright lights irritate it sometimes.
She looks really happy -

Prettiest without sunglasses. I think she may get headaches with the bright lights. Either way very cool.

Yes those God awful sunglasses are horrible. She is still so pretty and they are so unflattering. Why don't her people tell her that they look so bad, and also to stop wearing black, it ages her so. She should wear any color at all and would look better.

They are not just shades... They are actually prescription glasses. Maybe she wants to see! Maybe contacts bug her! She suits black IMO

Why can't Stevie wear whatever she wants? She is going to wear what makes HER comfortable. Black is slimming which is why she wears it. Even though she is still small, she may not feel that way. If wearing black makes her feel better about herself, then so be it.

Contacts will irritate a tearing eye, and, yes it's nice to be able to SEE. I still love the black best, or black and white, or all white. I wear too much black myself and it does pale me, but I like it anyway. Loved seeing the video.

I know you'll all attack me like a pack of hyenas, but I don't like Stevie's flat, nasal and strident approach to Gold Dust Woman. It's campy. Why does she hit the song so hard from the beginning, with no higher end left to send it out of the ballpark at the end, where it matters? Stevie has abandoned her intimate, whispered/sung STORMS style of singing that served her so well on RUMOURS and TUSK. This Gold Dust Woman is like a credit card commercial. It's shrill. Me no like-eeee....

Why do you think Stevie doesn't sing "Rooms on Fire" anymore? It would be such a great addition to the Set list!
