After previewing 2012 AXS TV Fleetwood Mac, live in Boston, and other TV specials, shows the band to be at the top of their game and performing better then ever!! What a comeback! I've followed the band since their beginning, and feel a unique closeness to their music, being s South Bay Southern California girl myself! Stevie Nicks is absolutely beautiful, and when I say to my grand kids that she is my age, they think I'm joking. Way to go Stevie. And I love to see her micropone dressed up & covered bohemian style, with the chiffon & lace scarves, and her shawls wrapped around her little black dresses. Not forgetting, of course, her voice still has that magical, harmonious tone that is her's alone and an unforgettable voice signature. Lindsey, WOW! Not only is he one very sexy good-looking performer, but I say this Rock Star can play a mean lead guitar to songs like "Never Going Back Again". Whew! Now that's a workout! And his writing talents can be so poetic. My new favorite, which was written shortly after there breakup, Lindsey commented about coming to terms with the fact that "there is little gain without some loss, and little redemption without forgiveness."
So true! And what a release of emotions which free the soul, called "Say Goodbye". John McVie on bass and Fleetwood Mac on drums complete the reunion. Sadly missed is Christie McVie. I have to say that their songs are not only timeless, but the time apart certainly was worth the wait just to watch Stevie and Lindsey perform together again. Musicians are lovers and the love was not loss between them in songs that were written from the heart. 5 Star performances to Fleetwood Mac...just wish I had a ticket!
