She also performs on "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Love love love her vocal here. Soft and sweet, not strained or pushed.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think this is a great version. I love Chris Issak too.

ReplyDeleteThe only thing "flat" here is the absurd comment, anon.
ReplyDeleteHer voice sounds like it's the 80's again - w/o the cocaine.
Remove the silver spoon from your ears, man! I wish she sang like this all the time...what a fantastic Fleetwood Mac concert that would be.
This is a great vocal by Stevie. Not strained at all.
ReplyDeleteFunny that if you write anything but a glowing comment on Stevie it is removed from this site. Stevie is my favorite singer of all time, but there is nothing wrong with commenting if you didn't particularly like any certain performance she did. How very childish of whoever runs this website.
ReplyDelete^^ Please! Your comment is completely false. I remove comments if they are offensive either to other posters or offensive to anybody in Fleetwood Mac, or just offensive in general and have nothing to do with what the topic is. Look around... There are plenty of comments on various posts that aren't all that complimentary towards SN or some of the other band members and they are left. If it's constructive criticism it's fine, but if it's an attack - I'll use my judgement and decide to remove or not plain and simple.
ReplyDeleteyes! brilliant! Stevie hasn't sung this charmingly and intelligently in a looooong time - wonderful!!!! impeccable phrasing, her voice pitched exactly where it should be in the arrangement, and an overall humility about being "Stevie Nicks" that actually contributes to as opposed to distracts from the experience.....
ReplyDeletethis just shows you how down-to-earth, honest and accessible Stevie always was, despite her "remote" mythic/iconic mystique during those intense, top-of-the-world STAR days were... she was always a nice, polite, down-home girl who any man would be proud to take home to Mama - and Mama would have LOVED her!!!
