Stevie talking to CBS on the Grammy red carpet tells the reporter that Fleetwood Mac will be out on tour at
the end of next summer, plus she throws in she's looking forward to "two different tours next year" (what does that mean). She also says she would like to go out with Dave Grohl and his grunge army again because she had so much fun.

Admittedly, I groaned when initially viewing photos of Stevie's Grammy attire. Not just because it's become her standard social uniform, but it smacks of a last minute decision to attend a major media event. Worse than that, I feared she was going to spend the next 5 minutes talking about In Your Dreams being the most amazing experience of her life for the 10 millionth time. That being said, I think it's actually one of the better interviews she's given in a long time. It has humor and inspirational advice about not taking life for granted. God knows I love me some Stevie, but I'm so ready to hear new material from her and the Mac now that Christine is back for the ride. :)
Groan indeed, can she PLEASE get a new freakin' outfit. Come on....it's as much about the clothes as it is the artistry, cause let's face it Stevie style is her artistry too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sorry but it's done, sick of black, sick of that same top. She rocks purple and red and pink. I am so happy she is looking beautiful, feeling happy...and motivated...she's humble she is alive in so many ways, you can see it in her eyes, the clothes are bringing her down and I agree with Greg, it looks like she just threw something on last minute!!!!!!
Shut up, Greg.
Funny - I looked for her Tv appearance on the Red Carpet shows & did not see this! LOVED it.
For a woman of her age black is appropriate. She is not in her 20's anymore. I love her dearly. I have cried at her and FWM's concerts. She is the ultimate classy woman. She looks and sounds great even in her later years!
maybe lady antebellum and stevie nick short tour together. that would be awesome!
Clothing and theatrics are irrelevent; it's about the music.
..or small Buckingham/Nicks Tour?? I don't know, been thinking about it all day. Maybe some solo shows?
I would love to see Stevie throw in some colors - purples, reds, pinks, even greens. However, I am going to agree with the Anonymous comment above. Stevie wears what is appropriate for a classy woman her age who can still be sexy. A purple scarf or perhaps some color on her boots, or maybe even a chunky belt ... but she is most definitely wearing attire that makes her look the best for her age without actually "dressing her age."
As for the new tour starting in late summer ... it makes me wonder if the band can complete an album this quickly. 'Say You Will' took what, a year to record if I remember correctly? Granted the process will go faster if Lindsey, Christine and Stevie already have their new material submitted to work on (which is entirely possible) ...
I think Stevie looks fantastic; however, I do agree that the blouse does not do her any favors, and a splash of color would elevate everything. That said, I think she's gotten to the point in her life when she just wants things to be simple. She wants to look good, but she doesn't want to have to think about what to wear. So she has put together these "uniforms" that she can just grab and then go. She's 65; she's entitled to a little simplicity in her life.
Come on !!! She looks awesome - I wouldn't change a thing. What an angel.
This off-the-shoulder style began with the IF ANYONE FALLS video. While it's a nice look from time to time, I agree with the other "stylists" that it doesn't flatter Stevie as her permanent uniform. It's certainly not contemporary and it only makes her look like the madam of an Armenian bordello.
Stevie needs help with her look - no question. Hopefully she gets it in advance of the new FM album and tour.
Or a Long Island Mafia-wife-in-mourning....
well I think she wears black because it tends to slim one...
