  4. The lackluster performance this morning depressed me. I actually cringed a couple of times and thought for the 1st time that maybe they should retire :( Stevie should NO longer sing Gypsy as her voice no longer is suitable for it. Just my opinion...

    1. Basenji02... Was there this morning. Haven't seen how it translated to TV... but it was far from lackluster... They sounded great for 7am

  5. Well Gypsy at MSG was perfect and no they should not retire. Glad there are more tour dates but not in winter in the northeast. Really bad planning.

  6. I'm surprised they agreed to go back on the Today show for a live performance.
The sound is always horrible and the mix is even worse.
It did nothing to help their "cause".
They should stick with Jimmy Fallon and David Letterman -- two shows that actually put time and effort into their broadcast sound.

  7. All the cracks at Stevie's voice ... you people do realize the woman is 66 years old right? Her voice is deeper, richer ... she is NEVER going to sound like she did twenty, thirty years ago, even if she'd never touched a drug a day in her life the soft velvety texture from her 20s and 30s would be gone ...

Their performance this morning was fantastic. "The Chain" was spot on. "Little Lies" was amazing, Christine's voice is also deeper but she still sounds amazing, Lindsey was a bit off-key but he never performed "Little Lies' back in the day the Shake The Cage Tour began after he left the group in 1987. "Gypsy" was beautifully performed. For the naysayers ... Stevie's voice has changed. It has deeper textures, so she sings the older songs in a way that matches her "now" voice, not her "then" voice. Stop expecting her to use the voice she had and enjoy the powerful voice she has.

  8. I'm so glad to hear there back together its funny to me just two weeks ago I put rumors cd on. My favorite song of theirs is song bird by Christine. The whole band is special to me I was a roadie on there mirage tour I was not yet 18 when I went on tour with them, it all satrated at the us festival back stage the last night they were the closing band they flew in if I remember right Stevie had a pregnant girlfriend there so she took very great care of her , at the end of the night anthe

girl and I were getting back at some guys who pored drinks all over her so we gathered cups and pored them on the guys and that was when I stepped on micks feet my dirty toe marks were all over his nice creamed colored shoes. I get grabbed by these to guys I look up and see Mick . Mick if your reading this are you going to have your friends stand in the pile of trash and take photos? I always thought that was cool .I use to watch you do that when I helped Tony but your drums away. saw you this morning dudes were getting old but still rockin with love always marie

  9. Hey I was 19 when I first saw Fleetwood Mac at Madison Square Garden in 1977 and they were all in their late 20s. Well now it's 40 years later and of course they sound older. We as their fans are so amazingly lucky to still have them around and still performing, especially now that Christine is back. Lindsey is still a brilliant guitarist, Mick a wonderful drummer and John the best bass player in rock. And Stevie will remain the Queen of Rock as long as she lives.

Remember, they were performing yesterday at 8:30AM outside in NYC on a street situated between two high rise buildings with the sound echoing all over the place. Everyone who plays the Today Show has to deal with those logistics. If you didn't like the way they sounded or thought they were tired, that's fine, then just don't bother to go see them in concert. Believe me, there are enough of us who are thrilled to still have them around who will fill up any arena they play.

    LONG LIVE FLEETWOOD MAC ! ! !

  10. Why is it bands like Fleetwood Mac, Bruce,etc... always play in Tampa and other cities in Florida. Yet they pass on playing in Orlando where the new unbelievable Amy Center is. Parking directing across the street and access from any direction in Central Florida. The Eagles played there last November to nearly 17,000 fans. It's an incredible building right in the Downtown area. There's no doubt any decent classic band or new artist will have have a sellout plus.

  11. Saw them in Chicago on October 2. They were astonishingly good. Great. My 40 y/o daughter, who took me to fulfill my lifelong dream, has seen many, many concerts and said this was the best concert she'd ever attended. Of course it was the best I'd ever seen. I don't know what they sound like on tv at 8:30 a.m, but at 8:15 on a Thursday night they sounded awesome.
