Stevie was wonderful singing "Lady" on the Tonight Show. What a great song and she looked terrific in the long dress. I wish she would wear the long dress on tour with Fleetwood Mac, she is so beautiful in it.
Spectacular! I thought Stevie looked and sounded beautiful, loved the stage setup and lighting too! I know a lot of people constantly go on about how Stevie's voice has changed and, of course, it has but I truly believe she's better than ever as a singer, and at age 66-just amazing really. She just continues to make me happy!
I thought both were stellar performances :) LOVED them both!!! Question : Why does Stevie sound so nasally/monotone on the CD compared to her live performances? Her voice on these two performances showed so much more depth and range
^ She did! Who would have expected her to sound better than she does on the official recording AND to look better than she did on the official video. This is the definitive recording of "Lady" in my opinion.
I loved it too!! I loved the way she sways back and forth at the start, and the dramatic nod to the piano player. Interesting performance, as she did NOT over-sing in "Lady." I do like the studio version, but the live version has more restraint on some parts, which makes the song more comforting. It's hard to explain. I like the vocals here better than the cd, as I prefer the delivery in this performance. And she looks beautiful
Also loved it. She really looked like she was giving it her best and proud of her performance as well. She knew she nailed it. And yes she looked beautiful.
Wow, I expected lots of comments on this. Stevie's only major promo performance on late night tv, and 9 comments? After like 25 comments on a post announcing she was performing "Lady." You'd think her performance would entice tons of comments.Strange.
I think her vocals on The Tonight Show are actually superior to those on 24 Karat Gold. She looks and sounds great!
