My prediction is this: With Stevie already saying she has through 2015 with Fleetwood Mac and then will do her solo thing, and the band adding more and more shows, plus they haven't even announced Australia yet. I think they may very well finish a new album in 2016, but this tour now may be the last ever. I think they may do some TV appearances to promote the new album and maybe a few strategic shows, but they will all be too old to do another world tour. I think that's why they are milking this tour for as much as they can, and that's fine. They know we all want to see them as much as possible now that Chris is back and there is only so much time. I would love another tour if they do the new album, but I am not counting on it. Stevie wants to tour behind 24 Karat Gold and I doubt she'll change her mind.
ReplyDeleteYa I said that too that the album will not released til 2016 while stevie is doing a solo tour in which I prefer more. I know if the tickets prices are the way they are now. seeing her and Lindsey solo will be more pricing too my liking. I paid 1300 and 800 dollars for a pair of tickets for the 2 boston shows near the stage. I love this band but can't keep paying those kind of prices like that. So ready for solo shows!!!
ReplyDeleteHowbout Manchester NH after the Cleveland show near the end of Feb.
ReplyDeleteIf any of them even want to do another tour or anything after this it will be surprising. Only in excess so Mac. You can already see some of the toll on them.......except maybe Chris who is still in her first year.
ReplyDeleteJust shows how incredible this band is though. The shows keep selling like crazy. Just hope the weather holds out in the northeast in the winter. That could really screw things up. But even the winter shows are selling except Newark. Wonder why that one just won't sell like the others.
ReplyDeleteya thinking about one of those shows in the northeast but it would be a 3 hr ride to the show its a tough call with winters here really am surprised that they are doing shows here in jan & feb. really odd!!!
ReplyDeleteLindsey and Christine have already stated they are mostly finished with their compositions. For those tracks Stevie just has to add her vocals and harmonies on. Stevie could join the band and hammer out five or six new Stevie contributions in just a couple months, probably less. Lindsey and Christine's tracks can be mixed and mastered without Stevie around. I think this is probably what will happen in the fall of 2015 once the world tour is concluded. Stevie can then tour for 24KG and come back for the new Mac album.
