They must be worn out from the tour so far, and by having an opening act they can shorten their set. I can't blame them. At their age doing a two and a half hour show is a bit much.
ReplyDeleteFeeling shocked and spoiled.
ReplyDeleteAngus and Julia are great - perfect fit for FM.
ReplyDeletemaybe not start at 700 be off the stage for 800 start 820 like usually.
ReplyDeleteIn Australia, it is music industry law that foreign acts must have an Australian support act. FM are unlikely to shorten their set.
ReplyDeleteVery good opening acts. Love the voice of Julia. Nice to see an all female rock band like Stonefield. I know Angus & Julia have some USA dates, but hope Stonefield come here also one day.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe the above comment about Australia insisting on an Australian opening act it true. In 2006 I saw Stevie Nicks in Melbourne and Sydney and Vanessa Carlton opened for both shows and she is American.
