Fleetwood Mac "Fleetwood Mac" was released July 11, 1975 and is commonly referred to as the white album. This was the first album that included new band members Lindsey |Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.
Three singles were released in the US, the first being Over My Head, reaching No.20 on Billboards Hot 100 Singles Chart becoming Fleetwood Mac's first Top 20 hit in the US. The first single released from the album in the UK was "Warm Ways", a song that wasn't released as a single in the US.
The album peaked at No.1 in the US on September 4, 1976 after 58 weeks on the chart. It only spent one week at number 1. In the UK, the album initially peaked at #23. In the US it was the #2 album of 1976 on the year end charts.
The RIAA in September, 2018 certified "Fleetwood Mac" 7x Platinum having sold over 7 million copies in the US.
In March, 2004 Warner Bros. Records released a remastered version of the album with bonus tracks. In January, 2018 Rhino Records released a 3-CD/1-LP/1DVD Deluxe Edition of the album featuring the remastered album, alternate takes, live material and surround sound mixes.
