Up until this week, it had been awhile since I last heard from Photographer Bill Hansen... In 2010 he started sending me a few of his photos that he took of Fleetwood Mac from Seattle in 1977.  Some Really amazing iconic shots! Once again, some truly amazing vintage photos taken by Bill Hansen.  I never get tired of seeing all these old photos from the 70's, especially ones through the lens of someone in the audience.  Some of the best captures are from fans!!  It must have been an amazing time to see live shows back then... Real artists up there playing and singing - not a lot of bells and whistles, or tricks.. Just the music...  Thanks again Bill for the trip back to '77 in Seattle.

STEVIE NICKS IDOLIZED BY FLORENCE & THE MACHINE'S FRONT WOMAN

Delicate and ferocious, powerful yet vulnerable, 80's riot girl meets '90's Lilith Fair, Florence and the Machine's music can go from one extreme to the other in an instant of juxtaposing sounds and emotions driven by front woman Florence Welch's voice. The easiest way to describe them: Pretty with a punch.

The British band's debut album "Lungs" on Universal Republic has been a huge breakout, spurring buzz in both the UK and the US. They've recently embarked on their first US tour, starting in New York with two sold out shows at Le Poisson Rouge and Terminal 5. And playing across the country with a stop at Coachella Music & Arts Festival.

"I get inspirations from all over the place," says Florence.

However, her music idol of all-time is Stevie Nicks.

"I'm pretty obsessed with Stevie Nicks from her style to her voice. I like watching her on YouTube and her old performances, the way she moves and everything," she says.

STEVIE NICKS SIGHTING - BOA STEAK HOUSE

It’s always a delight to run into Stevie Nicks somewhere. This week she dined at Boa steak house, dressed all in black as usual. We like everything but the tinted aviator glasses – they don’t do her any favors. She finished her world tour with Fleetwood Mac in December, you last saw Stevie on the Grammys singing with Taylor Swift and now she’s writing songs with Dave Stewart. Did you know Lindsay Lohan tried to buy the rights to Stevie’s life so she could produce and star in the movie? Stevie responded “Over my dead body!”
