GTF "Wanna Be With You" - Fleetwood Mac classic gets an Urban Twist

G.T.F (Got The Formula) A great new male urban pop duo.

The Fleetwood Mac classic gets an Urban Twist as East End boys release their debut single this summer. The music of mighty rock/pop legends, Fleetwood Mac, re-ignites into the hottest sound this summer as heart-throb duo, GTF, release their 2013 version of ‘Wanna Be With You (Everywhere)’, in September. As celebrity trainer to the stars (Frankie & Joey Essex, Joanne Beckham, Chipmunk etc), one half of the duo is no stranger to the limelight – but these boys need to get their shades on as their music promises to catapult them into the full glare of the spotlight this summer.

GTF (Got The Formula) are East End singer, songwriter and rappers duo, Jay and Billy. Fit and ripped these boys are arguably the hottest asset to hit this summer’s music scene and they sound even better than they look. With production from Peter ‘Boxsta’ Martin and DJFats and club mixes by Pink Pandas, their first single, a remake of Fleetwood Mac’s‘Everywhere’ bursts a hands-in-the-air anthemic dance vibe that’s powerful enough to traverse from dance floor to radio airplay and everywhere else in between.

Describing their sound as high energy, urban dance with a touch of hip hop, GTF have revamped, invigorated and injected Fleetwood classic with a unparalleled 2013 vigor. Plus, with a video that radiates sand and sunbeams from the first frame – GTF’s ‘Wanna Be With You’ is set to be a stonkin’ sizzler this summer.

Following a successful UK promotional tour in late 2012, the band notched-up an impressively large loyal fan base that’s impatient for their single to be released. Their growing celebrity fan- base now includes Joanne Beckham and TOWIE’s Frankie Essex. Fleetwood Mac just got a new formula and it ain’t half bad – GTF are here!

The single, ‘ Wanna Be With You (Everywhere)’ is released in conjunction with Universal Publishing on 23rd September.

Fleetwood Mac Producer Ken Caillat Possibly Prepping "Tusk" book... Looking for Photos.

Ken Caillat posted on the "Rumours (the book)" Facebook page the following message.

"In preparation for my possible Tusk book, I trying to find as many pics from the tusk era of the band in or out of the studio, in restaurants, partying, etc. if you have them and we use them we'll pay for them!!"

Ken wrote a book the Making of Rumours that came out in April, 2012 to coincide with the 35th Anniversary of the album... and looks to be prepping to do the same on "Tusk"...

Curious... with Tusk being a double album, will the book be double the size?

The Royal Philharmonic Reinterprets Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" Feat. Peter Frampton

New Release: July 16, 2013

One of the world's most storied and esteemed orchestras, The Royal Philharmonic, continues its bold, symphonic reinterpretations of contemporary rock music, this time revisiting the '70s melodic rock favorite Rumours by Fleetwood Mac in its entirety.

Recorded at the historic Abbey Road studios, this release marks the first time the RPO have taken on an entire album, from opening note to closing refrain.

The roughly 50+ musicians who comprise the orchestra were aided in their quest by the guiding hands of arrangers James Graydon and Richard Cottle as well as very special guest appearances by the legendary Peter Frampton and steel guitarist Sarah Jory.

Review | Videos: Fleetwood Mac Live in Sacramento by Rock Subculture

Fleetwood Mac at Sleep Train Arena Sacramento, California
July 6, 2013 (Concert Review)
By Jason Debord
Rocksubculture.com

It isn’t often that real, genuine rock and roll legends come into my hometown of Sacramento to perform in concert, but after last night’s Fleetwood Mac show at Sleep Train Arena, they’ve set the bar quite high for any act to follow.  Have loved this band since I was a kid, but have never seen them live, so this was an eagerly anticipated show for me.  I did see Lindsey Buckingham on his own last year, and Stevie Nicks with Dave Grohl’s Sound City Players earlier this year, so have had bursts of greatness, which really fed my desire to see them together as Fleetwood Mac even more.  As amazing as those other performances had been, they did not prepare me for the magic of having their best line-up (unfortunately sans Christine McVie) on stage together.  I think it cements Lindsey Buckingham as the true rock God of the 70s/80s generation and Stevie Nicks, fittingly, as the rock Goddess.  Mick Fleetwood is like Zeus (or maybe a mad pirate), with twin balls hanging (in a dangling/dancing sort of way) from his belt.  John McVie is content to leave center stage to the others, throwing down his bassline and keeping everything on the tracks as much as possible.  This is a band who know who they are, and haven’t strayed from their identity in sound or fashion.  What really hit home is how much they appreciate their fans, which was expressed not just in the performance but in eloquent statements from Nicks and Fleetwood to close out the show, calling us their “Dreamcatchers”, and really articulating the music fan/musician dynamic better than I’ve ever heard before.  This date closed out the U.S. leg of their tour, and certainly inspires one to start following them around Europe later this year…
