Lindsey Buckingham set for Lorain Palace in fall

The Morning Journal

Lindsey Buckingham, who earned a spot in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame with Fleetwood Mac, winning countless awards defined the sound of rock for the last three decades, will be coming to the Lorain Palace Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6.

His concert is part of Time Warner Cable Music: Sessions series.

“It’s our working relationship with the Live Nation (promotion company),” Lorain Palace general manager John Handyside said about his local venue landing a top-tier booking such as Buckingham.

“That’s what we’re hoping, that this will be a successful test of bringing in A-list attractions for the future.”

Buckingham is regarded as the predominant musical force behind such Fleetwood Mac albums as “Rumours” and the innovative “Tusk.” He has created a critically acclaimed body of solo work that yielded the hits. Trouble,” “Go Insane” and “Holiday Road.”

Buckingham’s sixth solo album, “Seeds We Show,” showcases Buckingham’s full arsenal of skills — from the soft melodic pop-rock tinge of “End Of Time” and the album’s most rocking track, “One Take,” to the touching “When She Comes Down” and the lullaby feel and hushed tones of “She Smiles Sweetly.

Tickets are $29.50 to $75, available online a www.LorainPalace.com and www.livenation.com. Loge seating (with food) is $250 for four.

We all saw the finished product on GMA earl Friday and how great it was... Well here's footage of how the clips of Stand Back and Ghosts Are Gone were put together, plus a full run through of the abbreviated Rhiannon. Cool stuff!  Fun seeing things from this perspective.

Video: Stevie Nicks Performing on Good Morning America

Stevie took to the stage today in Central Park, New York City... The last half hour of GMA was pretty much owned by Stevie save for a bar-b-q segment... We saw a clip of her performing Stand Back first.. Then a short clip of her rocking the tambourine to Ghosts Are Gone and then the full live versions of Landslide and For What it's Worth.  Surprise of surprises.. Mike Campbell of The Heartbreakers who wrote For What It's Worth was there to perform the song with her.  Stevie played out the show with Rhiannon.  Steive and her band looked awesome and sounded amazing for a tv show which is a rarity as the sound mix can often sound pretty bad.. Great job guys!

Things are starting to ramp up in the promotion dept. for Lindsey... We'll start seeing press and tv coverage over the next couple of weeks as the album release date nears.

Jerry Penacoli (Extra TV) met up with Lindsey today at his home and posted this photo to his facebook page saying that Lindsey sang his new single "Seeds We Sow" live acapella.

Also, Sandy Cohen of the Associated Press interviewed Lindsey at his home today... She tweeted that it was so cool to interview him as she has been listening to his music all her life thanks to her mother.

Still following her ‘Dreams’

Stevie Nicks tours behind new album that takes her in many different directions

Stevie Nicks will twirl her way to the stage of the Bank of America Pavilion on Monday, and she’s thrilled to be hitting the road in support of her latest solo release, “In Your Dreams,’’ her first in a decade and what she calls one of the best of her career.

Produced and partially co-written by erstwhile Eurythmic Dave Stewart - with help from Glen Ballard - at a studio in Nicks’s Los Angeles home, the album finds the Fleetwood Mac chanteuse covering a lot of ground. She spreads her patented brand of mystical glitter on everything from the emotional ode to our troops “Soldier’s Angel,’’ featuring Mac compatriot Lindsey Buckingham on guitar and vocals, to the expansive rocker “Wide Sargasso Sea.’’

We chatted with Nicks recently on the phone from LA.  Check out that interview here
