Nicely done!... It sounds perfect... The promo video we have yet to see is being played in the background, but unfortunately it's not captured in this.

STEVIE NICKS Opens Tampa Show... Looking and Sounding Great!

Stevie Nicks opened for Rod Stewart in Tampa tonight... She'll re-appear somewhere during his set to duet with him on one or two tracks... Turns out there were no duets between the two.  That's odd, considering we heard so much from the two of them in the press about the duet possibilities... Well hopefully it's just the case with tonights show.. There's a bunch more shows to go.

The first show got underway tonight with a surprise opener from Stevie...a tune she's played many times live but one she's never opened her show with [nice change].  

The setlist, provided with thanks by Alicelover over on the Ledge who had the play by play as the show was going on by someone sending text messages.. As usual the Stevie fans come through with all we want to hear... One surprise of the night aside from Stevie promising to play "Secret Love" which she did, is the infamous "Secret Love" Video (THAT NOBODY HAS SEEN YET) was played on the big backdrop during the song.  It's been reported the song was filmed from the audience, so it's possible that we may get a glimpse of the Video before it officially is released.

I won't list the setlist here, I'll provide a link [here] just in case you want it to be a surprise for your show...

Judging by this photo, she appears to be wearing similar outfits from previous tours, although having not seen a good close up shot, I'm not sure if anything was new.. Apparently the boots weren't back tonight, she wore the platform shoes.  By the sounds of the video footage below she sounded like she was in really good form.

There apparently wasn't an Edge walk at the end of Edge of Seventeen as the stage was set too far back from the audience... Not sure if this will be the case for all shows or if it was just this configuration.

MICK FLEETWOOD Takes Part in Fund Raising Event for Earthquake and Tsunami Relief

STEVIE NICKS Scheduled to Appear on NBC's Today Show - May 3rd

According to an AEG Press Release announcing Stevie's one night in Vegas May 14th - she's scheduled to appear on NBC'S The Today Show May 3rd.

Stevie Nicks’ first studio album in a decade, “IN YOUR DREAMS", is scheduled to release May 3, 2011. The CD was co-produced by former Eurythmic Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard. The first single “Secret Love" has just been released. Nicks is a multi-Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and member of Fleetwood Mac. Alex Castino an Independent Videographer & Editor with Jokerstyle Productions today posted on Twitter that he's filming Lindsey's Solo Rehearsals in LA... You read that correctly... REHEARSALS!  Obviously Lindsey is gearing up with something... The production co. looks as if they put together promotional videos similar to the ones we saw for his Gift of Screws album where Lindsey is sitting there speaking about each song... It's also possible that Lindsey is compiling footage for a sort of "making of" doc to go along with the album that's expected sometime this year...

Over on The Jokerstyle Productions Facebook Page, it appears they've been working together since as far back as the latter part of February... Check them out on Facebook... More details are to come!

This is one of the very first live shows of the classic Fleetwood Mac lineup that included Mick Fleetwood, John and Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. Fleetwood Mac, formed after McVie and Fleetwood left John Mayall's Bluesbreakers in 1966, had made its mark in both Europe and the U.S. as a British blues rock band; it wasn't until its mid 1970s Bare Trees era version, with singer /songwriters Bob Welch and Danny Kirwin at the helm, that the band began to move in a more purely pop direction.

This recording captures the band at that exciting time, during their transition from British blues-rockers to Top 40 pop music superstars. Shortly after the recording of this show, the band's status in the U.S. and the rest of the world would explode with the release of hits like "Rhiannon," "Landslide" and "I'm So Afraid." Each of those songs, along with the band's rare version of the Welsh-written hit, "Hypnotized," are part of this short but historic performance. Not to be missed.

Another tweet from ASCAPEXPO today brought the "interviewer" for Lindsey Buckingham at the ASCAP Expo in LA in April a little bit closer to being revealed... Still not a 100% known, but ellellew on Twitter, after taking a look at an indexing site that lists celebs/musicians etc. and ranks them by Twitter Followers, determined that based on the info provided it could be Sara Bareilles... Possibly the giveaway was the mention of her Sara's video "Uncharted" which has many cameos in it and Ryan Tedder who's in the video is also a speaker at ASCAPEXPO... Now we wait!

ASCAP Just tweeted that they've locked in an interviewer for Lindsey Buckingham at the upcoming ASCAP EXPO which takes place April 28-30, 2011 at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. On April 29th Lindsey Buckingham will be presented with the prestigious ASCAP Golden Note Award during the 6th Annual ASCAP "I Create Music" EXPO...

Interesting!  Obviously someone really well known... Gotta be another musician!
