Okay, This strikes me as a bit odd!  But I'll go along with it for now.  I saw this pop up on Amazon awhile ago without the cover art and just passed it off as either an error, or a bootleg of some sort (and maybe it still is), especially after a dvd was released of Stevie at the US Festival... and the Mirage Australian dvd... both of which couldn't have been band sanctioned... But anyway, here's the details on it:

[Edit June 21, 2010] Please note that this, as I suspected, is basically a bootleg being sold on Amazon... The quality, visually and audibly is substandard at best.... If you were lucky enough to record this when it was on TV, that would be far superior to what is being offered here... Buyer beware!

Man on the Street: The Night of a Thousand Stevies

For the twentieth anniversary of the annual event honoring solo artist and former Fleetwood Mac lead singer Stevie Nicks on Friday, we sent our Tim Murphy to investigate. There were live performances (and lip-synched ones), dancing, and a lot of witchy drag queens. As you can see in this video, Murphy changed the night just by being there. Also, perhaps, the night changed him.

MICK FLEETWOOD BLUES BAND TOUR IN JEOPARDY

Kansas State Fair loses another big act
Victoria Advocate

ZZ TOP have cancelled another one of their formerly committed to dates with The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band as their show opener.

Officials of the Kansas State Fair are scrambling to fill not one but two slots in their music lineup after the second cancellation by a top grandstand act.

Fair officials said Tuesday that ZZ Top scratched its Sept. 19 performance. The venerable Texas blues-rock trio has accepted an invitation instead to tour with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - a tour with no Midwestern dates.

Fair director Denny Stoecklein said ZZ Top and its opening act, the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band, had already sold 1,599 tickets in the week since tickets went on sale. Fleetwood's band also canceled.

"We are very disappointed in this action," said Stoecklein. "ZZ Top and its management authorized us to announce the concert, authorized us to go on sale with tickets, and had issued a contract."

Stoecklein said he has contacted Kansas Attorney General Steve Six's office to explore possible recourse and recover damages associated with the cancellation.
