STEVIE NICKS IN THE NEXT ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE ISSUE #1112 DATED SEPT 2nd

David Wild (Rolling Stone Magazine Contributing Editor) reports via Twitter, that his "little album preview" on the next Stevie Nicks album being produced by Dave Stewart will be in the next issue of Rolling Stone Magazine issue #1112.  

Rolling Stone is a bi-weekly published magazine.  The current issue is dated August 19th with Katy Perry on the cover, so the next issue will be dated September 2, 2010.

It's a miracle Fleetwood Mac stayed together during the mid-70s, with all the bed-hopping and drug taking. Even more amazing is that they produced their masterpiece, ‘Rumours', featuring this embittered pop masterpiece, written by Lindsey Buckingham about his split with Stevie Nicks. "Packing up, shacking up is all you want to do," he charmingly told the entire world, while she mumbled the backing vocals.

SALES UPDATE FOR FLEETWOOD MAC'S 1988 "GREATEST HITS"

Fleetwood Mac's 1988 Greatest Hits disc was released in 1988. It was last certified by the RIAA in 2000 at 8x platinum (8 million units shipped).  

For the week ending July 25, 2010 "Greatest Hits" was at number 74 on Billboards Top 200 Catalog Album Chart with sales of 1,853 units.  The previous week was 1,876 units sold. To date (1991 to present) the disc has sold 4,370,106 copies in the United States. Between the last sales update (September 6, 2009) and July 25, 2010 a total of 98,122 units have been sold.

Soundscan is the official method of tracking sales of music and music video products throughout the United States and Canada. It began tracking point of sale (POS) sales in early 1991. SoundScan is the sales source for the Billboard music charts, making it the official source of sales records in the music industry.
