RHYTHM MAGAZINE FEATURES FLEETWOOD MAC VIDEO PLAYALONG CD

If you're a drummer, you might be interested in this.  The October, 2010 issue of Rhythm magazine includes a drum lessons cd featuring a playalong video to Fleetwood Mac's "Go You Own Way".  It also includes the audio track without the drums.

"GET A JOB!" WORLD PREMIERE... MICK FLEETWOOD MAKES AN APPEARANCE

GET A JOB!,” the hilarious, high-spirited motion picture comedy starring Willie K and Eric Gilliom and filmed and produced entirely on Maui, will have its World Premiere at the Hawaii International Film Festival at the Regal Dole Cannery Stadium 18 on Saturday, October 16, 7:15pm and again will be shown on Saturday, October 23 at 3:15pm. Tickets are on sale now for both screenings. (Check www.HIFF.org for information on ticket sales.)

It also boasts special appearances by Mick Fleetwood, Willie Nelson, Pat Simmons of the Doobie Brothers, Marty Dread, and many many more.

VH1 Behind The Music: Remastered Returns with New Episodes

Classic's Behind The Music: Remastered returns this month with new episodes featuring Poison, Alice Cooper, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Fleetwood Mac, Green Day, Duran Duran and more.


The new season kicks off on Saturday, October 16 at 9 PM and according to the announcement the series picks up where "Behind The Music," left off with brand new interviews, footage, and video clips that update the stories of several classic artists over the last 10 to 15 years.

Starting October 16 at 9 PM*, VH1 Classic will air nine new one-hour episodes of "Behind the Music Remastered" featuring some of classic rocks' seminal artists and bands.

In the annals of Fleetwood Mac’s guitar history, Peter Green gets nearly all the black — in part because of his key role in making the Gibson Les Paul Sunburst an integral part of rock and blues history. But the Mac also featured another great Les Paul player who took lead of the band and helped the group reach its zenith of popularity: Lindsey Buckingham.

IT HAPPENED...

On this day in 1980, Fleetwood Mac presented a platinum disc to the USC marching band for their help on “Tusk” – recorded with 260 musicians playing during the halftime intermission of a game at Dodger Stadium in the fall of 1979.
