Update: Lightning Strikes... Maybe Once... Maybe Twice...

This is serious! Dave Stewart spent Monday afternoon and evening in the studio recording Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham!! Through various Twitter sources, these two hooked up to collaborate on a song to be included on Stevie's new album.  Lindsey played guitar and sang really cool harmonies according to Dave who is producing, calling it a special song. [Buckingham Nicks track remake maybe?]

Oh. And just an FYI Dave, in case you were wondering, and if you could pass this along... We would like to see Buckingham Nicks remastered and released as a 2 disc set, one disc being the remastered original album the second disc being new songs from Lindsey and Stevie. Oh... And a tour to boot! See what you can do... K Thanks!

Follow Dave Stewart on Twitter:
Dave Stewart: "recording Lindsey and Stevie right now sounds great still like a young fresh Buckingham Nicks"

Dave Stewart: "Just finished , Lindsey played great guitar and sang really cool harmonies on a very special song :)

IT HAPPENED....

On this day - November 22, 2006… After decades of living in California, Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood finally became a naturalized citizen of the United States."

MICK FLEETWOOD JOINS JOHN MAYALL AT MAUI GIG

First John Mcvie appeared with John Mayall in Honolulu on November18th - Now it's Micks turn. Mick sat in with John's band at the MACC (Maui Arts & Cultural Center) in Kahului, HI last night (Nov. 20th).  No other details available.

"John Mayall last played on Maui at the close of 2009, jamming with the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band at a Mala Wailea New Year's celebration. If the legendary drummer is home, he will likely play a bit at the MACC on November 20th.

"Hopefully Mick will show up because he did last time," says Mayall. Fleetwood Mac bassist John McVie told Mayall he will join the Honolulu show. "That will be nice to see him," he adds.

Mick and his band will play a couple of holiday concerts including Dec. 30 at the Maui Theatre in Lahaina. And we can look forward to a new club, Fleetwoods, opening in Lahaina."
