BURBANK, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/10/11 -- Rock 'n Roll's reigning queen Stevie Nicks will be releasing her highly anticipated new CD "In Your Dreams" on May 3rd, it was announced today by Reprise Records. This will be Nicks' first CD of new material since the release of her Grammy nominated "Trouble in Shangri-La" ten years ago. "In Your Dreams" was written and recorded at Nicks' Los Angeles home and is co-produced by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard. Nicks and Stewart co-wrote seven of the album's thirteen songs.

"I had written a song in Brisbane, Australia when I was on tour with Fleetwood Mac in 2009 called 'Moonlight -- A Vampire's Dream' which was inspired by the 'New Moon' film. When I finished writing that song, which came together really quickly, I knew the time was right to start recording. We had a core group of five people who were at the heart of the creation of 'In Your Dreams.' Dave and myself, my longtime friend and musical director, Waddy Wachtel, and my girls, Sharon Celani and Lori Nicks. It was a perfect blend," commented Nicks.

"This was one of the most extraordinary experiences I've had making a record. It is the first album that I have had this kind of collaboration since the making of Rumours. Dave created a situation where I could be totally creative and focused on writing songs and making music. I cannot remember ever having this much fun making a record. Writing the songs and recording them in my home studio was the key element in how this music turned out. It made the whole process seem very similar to how we used to work back in the day," she concluded.

The first single "Secret Love" written by Nicks is currently on iTunes. "It was 1976 and Fleetwood Mac was opening for Peter Frampton at the time. It was written about a forbidden relationship -- not Peter and I," laughed Nicks. "I always knew that one day I was going to record the song."

Nicks is currently gearing up to join forces with fellow rocker Rod Stewart for the 16 city Heart & Soul Tour, one of the most anticipated music events of the year... The first show is scheduled on March 20th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Stevie Nicks is a multi Grammy Award winner and Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Her extraordinary career as a solo artist, songwriter, live performer and member of Fleetwood Mac is legendary. Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" was one of the biggest selling albums of all time. She has penned such Mac classics as "Landslide," "Dreams," "Gold Dust Woman" and "Rhiannon." As a solo artist, beginning with the five time platinum debut "Bella Donna," her solo hits include unforgettable singles such as "Edge of Seventeen," "Leather and Lace" and "Stand Back."

Stevie Nicks Visits The Set Of "Glee"!

Legendary rocker Stevie Nicks visited the set of "Glee" Tuesday, TooFab has exclusively confirmed--but don't expect to see her the show quite yet.

"Steve Nicks visited the set yesterday," her rep told TooFab Wednesday, "but she is not 'on the show.'"

But that doesn't mean Nicks isn't up for a cameo. "We can of course hope and dream of a day when that could happen," adds her rep.

Nicks, who performs with Fleetwood Mac and had a successful solo career of her own, stopped by the studio yesterday, while guest stars Gwyneth Paltrow and John Stamos were also on-set.

The show's cast members were definitely thrilled to have Nicks there: After filming, Dianna Agron ("Quinn") tweeted "Gwyneth Paltrow and Stevie Nicks. Wonderful and unexpected day" with co-star Ashley Fink ("Lauren Zizes") tweeting, "Paltrow, Stamos, Stevie Nicks ... Pinch me."

Paltrow and the gang are rumored to sing "Landslide" during an upcoming episode.

"Glee''s Dianna Agron on the Guest Star Who Brought Her to Tears

"We had the pleasure of Stevie Nicks being on set yesterday," Agron said on Wednesday. "And she kind of made us all cry because she came and she said, 'If I hadn't been a musician, I would have been a teacher. And I would've hoped to send this message to kids --that although there are very important things like math and science and learning, you know, kind of the things that get you through life, there's also you need to find joy. And whether that's through music or dance or things like that, you need to have outlets in your life.'"

A WEST Berkshire man has launched a campaign to get an iconic Formula 1 song to number one in the charts in time for the new season.

Formula 1 fan, George Caröe, of Marsh Benham, recently started a campaign on social networking websites Facebook and Twitter, aiming to get Fleetwood Mac’s song, The Chain, to number one in the charts in time for the new Formula 1 season, which starts in March.

The song, which is used by the BBC in its introductions to Formula 1 coverage, has never reached the number one spot in the UK charts, but the campaign is gathering pace, with backing from the BBC’s Formula 1 presenter, Jake Humphrey, and the number of people ‘liking’ the Facebook page at 2,045.

Mr Caröe, a 20-year-old marketing management student at Southampton Solent University, said: “The reason behind the campaign is simple; to get one of the best and most iconic songs ever, to the well and truly deserved number one spot.”

Mr Caröe added that he and his friends are also trying to get the backing of BBC Radio One to help get the song to number one on Sunday, March 6 - in time for the first race weekend in Bahrain.
