UNITED KINGDOM: Top 100 Albums Chart - Week ending 19th February, 2011

• Fleetwood Mac's "The Very Best Of" rises again this week up 13 spots to # 31 on the Top 100 UK Albums Chart from # 44 last week (44-31, 6,058 units sold, 63.7%) just missing the Top 30 by one!  Just two weeks ago it sat at # 79 - so a pretty substantial increase in sales due to the fact that itunes in the UK is continuing to discount the album plus the 2009 documentary "Don't Stop" and the Peter Green documentary "Man Of The World" both re-aired earlier this month back to back on BBC4.

• On The Top 40 Heritage Charts - Rumours is sitting at # 30 with the Rhino edition (Which I'm assuming is the 2004 Remastered edition) and at # 38 with the Warner Bros. edition.

         itunes: UK Top 10 Rock Albums Chart

• In the UK on The Top 10 Rock Albums on itunes as of today, Fleetwood Mac place two albums in the Top 10 - The Very Best Of single disc 2002 version has been # 1 pretty much all week long. A discounted price and the re-broadcast of the "Don't Stop" Documentary helped... Rumours is also on the chart currently is at # 9.

IRELAND: Top 100 Albums Chart - Week Ending 10th February, 2011

• Fleetwood Mac "The Very Best Of" moves up to # 36 from # 66 last week - again fueled by the re-airing of "Don't Stop".  Total of 25 non-consecutive weeks on the chart.

Rod and Stevie to Rehearse in West Palm Beach High School

Rock icons Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks will be rehearsing their upcoming tour in a West Palm Beach high school next month, and 20 to 30 students will get to work with the show’s crew during their week of practice.

The singer of Maggie May and Gasoline Alley and the Fleetwood Mac hottie, pairing up for what could be one of concert season’s biggest draws, are scheduled into the campus of the G-Star School of the Arts March 14 with eight semis stuffed with equipment.

The tour kicks off March 20 at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise.
