Stevie all over "Secret Love" Video...

I think the shot of the young lady on the white horse was about enough to send a few over the edge... After seeing the first shots/stills taken from the "Secret Love" video...Speculators were betting that Stevie wouldn't be in the video...much!  I guess what Dave had to say clears that up!

The Week Ahead... For Stevie Nicks...

March 7th:
Stevie will be on KBCO's morning program this Monday.  The show, based out of Colorado runs from 5:30am - 10:30am... I suspect it's an interview... Not sure if it's a pre-recorded interview, one she gave during that day in late February when she was speaking with a bunch of radio stations, or if she's calling in...

March 8th:
GLEE: The Music Volume 5 album is released on Tuesday.  A cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" is included on the album sung by Gwyneth Paltrow.  The Fox show will broadcast March 8th.

Spare the Rod, Spoil the Nicks

Kudos & Kvetches Daily:
because you shouldn’t have to wait twice a week to be offended.

Last week it was announced two heavyweights of classic rock and urban mythology will join forces for one night of sweet music. On April 22, Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks perform at Rogers Arena—a one-two punch the likes of which hasn’t been felt since Fantasy Island followed Love Boat on Saturday nights. Besides maximum tune-age and a chance for middle-aged fans to get their feathered-hair groove on, what makes this concert particularly notable are the infamous tales of backstage debauchery and bizarre rumours both artists bring with them.

Full Article HERE... Kinda funny.  BUT.. Lot's of untruths. Obviously not to be taken seriously..

One line that made me laugh:

"Nicks once passed out under a pile of her own shawls and wasn’t found for three days".

Interview: Dave Stewart talks Stevie Nicks' new album 'In Your Dreams'

BY MELINDA NEWMAN
HITFIX
Stevie Nicks will release, “In Your Dreams,” her first solo album in 10 years on May 3. Nicks recorded “In Your Dreams” in her Los Angeles home with co-producers Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard.

Stewart, best known as half of Eurythmics, says recording with Nicks was an absolute joy. “We co-wrote eight or nine songs together,” he tells Hitfix, seven of which ultimately ended up on the album. “After the second or third song, she said I’ve never sat together and written with someone in my life. It’s an amazing album.”

Nicks, who inspired a generation of singers, is the last artist who will be chasing trends, Stewart says. “It’s not like trying to answer or compete with any pop market.”

Stewart says he learned much about Nicks and her craft. “I learned how incredibly focused she is and how unbelievably committed she is to her art form and includes the words, research, her obsession with poets like Edgar Allan Poe and all the details.”

Nicks is prepping for a North American tour with co-headliner Rod Stewart. The Heart & Soul Tour kicks off March 20 at the Bank Atlantic Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
