Stevie Nicks has been tapped to headline this year's 15th annual Entertainment Tonight Emmy party.

More details are revealed about the Sept. 18 event, being held at Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles.

The invitation-only event kicks off at 8 p.m. Sept. 18, following the Primetime Emmy telecast, at Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles.

"We couldn't be more excited about having the iconic Stevie Nicks at this year's party," said Linda Bell Blue, executive producer of Entertainment Tonight and The Insider. "To see her perform in such an intimate setting and listen to her incredible songs that have transcended time -- our guests are in for a real treat."

The singer, known for both her solo career and time with Fleetwood Mac, recently released her first studio CD in a decade, In Your Dreams, which debuted at No. 6 on Billboard's Top 200 chart. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer has been touring the U.S. and recently appeared on Dancing With the Stars and Good Morning America.

She follows in the footsteps of previous ET party performers including Cyndi Lauper, Prince, Mary J. Blige, Duran Duran and Billy Idol.

Meanwhile, this marks the first ET party for co-host Nancy O'Dell, who joined the syndicated newsmagazine in January as special correspondent and took over for Mary Hart in May. O'Dell will be reporting alongside co-host Mark Steines and correspondent Steven Cojocaru from the party for the following day's episode.

"I've always heard about what a big part this is, and I'm very excited to see Stevie Nicks up close and personal, " O'Dell told The Hollywood Reporter. "We're going to have great coverage on Entertainment Tonight."

Stevie Nicks is a rock'n'roll woman. Her performance on Saturday night only enforced that. Playing to a pavilion only crowd at Jiffy Lube Live, she swept through 4 decades of hits while also promoting songs off her new album, "In Dreams." Watching the crowd file in for the show there was mix of good ole southern MD and VA types, smoking up in their cars while listening to Fleetwood Mac pre-show, to the "Leather and Lace" types that seem to have their Bella Donna era costumes on lock.

Better than: A radio stuck on the classic rock station.

"Welcome, Jones Beach," Stevie Nicks said before her second song on Sunday night, the last night for both her current mini-tour and the Long Island oceanfront amphitheater's 2011 season. "If you know me, you know there's nowhere I'd rather be than the ocean. I love it here." The crowd—even those people flouting her request to not hoist their cameraphones and get video of her performance that night—cheered.

For the rest of the evening—a 14-song set almost evenly split between her back catalog's most memorable songs and selections from this year's In Your Dreams—Nicks and the audience kept up this rapport, with her at one point wishing that she had another hour tacked on to the show to tell her stories; that the audience consistently responded to her reminiscences about the distant and recent past in kind, even breaking out into whoops and applause when she merely mentioned the Aspen mountains that had inspired Fleetwood Mac's monster hit "Landslide," was a pretty convincing sign that the feeling was mutual. (This even though the weather conditions were such that every audience member could feel as if they, too, were standing in front of a wind machine. Solidarity!) In her inimitable voice, she offered up the backstory for her military spouse's lament "Soldier's Angel" and tagged it with a plea to donate to the USO; she lost herself in the music, shimmying and twirling and giving her musicians Dances Of Stevie's Veils when they soloed; she gave a splendid introduction to her opening act Michael Grimm, a former America's Got Talent winner who'd pulled off a pleasant, if somewhat reserved, set of Stevie Ray-leaning blues-rock earlier in the evening.
