Fleetwood Mac "The Definitive History" Book - Highly Recommend!

Fleetwood Mac - The Definitive History
Published October 4, 2011
by Mike Evans
288 pages
Size: 12 x 9.4 x 1.4 inches

On aesthetics alone this book gets a pass! It's stellar!  It's a huge book, almost textbook like in size and weight with thick pages, loads of pictures filling each page with old pieces of documentation marking Fleetwood Mac's history.  The way the book is layed out in almost a scrapbook type form is really cool and fun to look at!  The book runs the gamut from the beginning in the 60's up until the Unleashed Tour in 2009 and includes the solo careers of Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Christine McVie and Mick Fleetwood with their first initial solo albums detailed and how their solo careers fit into the time-line of Fleetwood Mac.

Really good looking cover... Even the book without the cover is stunning.  Would make a perfect coffee table book! and for the price on Amazon.com of $19.77 it's an absolute bargain.

The photos below give you an example of the book layout, but don't do the book justice.. There's just so much in it.  Any Fleetwood Mac fan would be pleased to own this.

Amazon Description:
Can't stop thinking about Fleetwood Mac? This lavish, in-depth volume tells all about the legendary group: its music, tours, awards, turbulent personal relationships, and more.

Review: Lindsey Buckingham "Seeds We Sow" "dream-like atmosphere throughout the album ""

Lindsey Buckingham – Seeds We Sow (Eagle/Shock)

In between touring and recording with Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham has nurtured a solo career, reaching back to 1981. Following up on 2008’s Gift Of Screws, comes Seeds We Sow, Buckingham’s 6th studio solo outing.

While Lindsey is a fine singer and songwriter, it’s really his guitar playing that stands out on the 11 tracks included here. Buckingham has developed his own, unique sound, based around his delicate finger-picking and he using the technique to full advantage on songs like That’s The Way Love Goes, Stars Are Crazy and Rock Away Blind. His rippling notes seem to flow off the fretboard.

Sonically, Buckingham induces a dream-like atmosphere throughout the album thanks to his lyrics, which often refer to dreams, and his layered vocals.
