Legendary rockers Rod Stewart & Stevie Nicks have announced plans to reunite this summer and reprise their highly acclaimed, co-headlining “Heart & Soul Tour.”

“I couldn’t be happier to be back on the boards with Stevie this summer,” Stewart said in a release “We had fantastic fun on the road together last spring and I’m thrilled at the chance to bring it to new cities and fans this summer.”

The pair's previous tour featured 3-hour performances, with individual sets by Stewart and Nicks, plus a handful of duets.

Tickets for the Nashville concert are $52-$152 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Fri. March 2 through the Bridgestone Arena ticket office, all Ticketmaster locations, ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

In a career spanning five decades, Rod Stewart has amassed an estimated 250 million in album and single sales and an incredible 16 Grammy nominations.  In April he will join the elite list of artists who are 2x Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees (as a solo artist and soon as a member of the seminal 60s rock band, the Faces). On March 24, he will return to Las Vegas for an 8-concert-run of "The Hits" - part of his immensely popular first residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Stevie Nicks is a multi-Grammy Award Winner as a solo artist and member of the legendary Fleetwood Mac and a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee.  Her new CD "In Your Dreams" debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and has received glowing reviews from numerous outlets, including US Magazine who declared it "the best album of Nicks' four decade career."

Stevie Nicks to play herself on NBC's "Up All Night"

Music legend Stevie Nicks is coming to NBC’s comedy Up All Night.

The singer will play herself in a guest-star appearance on the show. In an episode airing later this season, Reagan (Christina Applegate) and Ava (Maya Rudolph) will need to woo Stevie to get her to be on Ava’s talk show. The Fleetwood Mac singer’s last TV guest-star appearance was on Fox’s The X Factor last year.

As part of NBC’s midseason comedy plan, Up All Night will stick around in its 9:30 p.m. Thursday night slot for all of its 24 episodes. After, Parks & Rec will return April 19.

Operation Ward 57 Recognizes Stevie Nicks for Dedication to Wounded Soldiers

We would like to take a moment to recognize Stevie Nicks and her continuous dedication to our wounded soldiers.

During my time stationed at Walter Reed working as a nurse with wounded soldiers, many visitors passed through the doorways of Ward 57. One visitor, in particular that impressed me, was Stevie Nicks.

Fleetwood Mac founder Mick Fleetwood's restaurant set to open in Lahaina in early summer

Renovations Begin for Fleetwood’s on Front Street
by: Daniel Weiss
The Maui Weekly

Fleetwood Mac founder Mick Fleetwood's newest masterpiece is a venture into the restaurateur world. Fleetwood's on Front Street and Fleetwood's Wine Cellar is set to open in Lahaina in early summer.

The restaurant will employ 100-plus people, and will embrace the Hawaiian culture and feature storytelling. Fleetwood himself will perform on a semi-regular basis along with surprise and esteemed musical guests performers.

Fleetwood's business partner, Jonathan Todd, said, "The restaurant space will look like a casbah meets Ralph Lauren meets colonial British Mick Fleetwood, and its changing and morphing as the process moves along."

Hawaiian Native Vene Chun presided over the traditional Hawaiian blessing last month, calling upon "na 'aumakua," ancestral guardians. Beginning with the blowing the conch and chanting, he used a tealeaf (a symbol of purification) to spread water (to give new life to the space) and sea salt (considered the amniotic fluid of Mother Earth), which reenergizes and revitalizes the spirits to rejuvenate everything in the building.

The blessing was followed by the initial demolition of the former restaurant's interior. An 1899 Langtry sign that adorned the back of one of the former restaurant's booths was salvaged and will be framed to hang on the walls of the new restaurant after renovations are complete. This was a particularly apropos, considering Langtry was one of the first locations of Mick Fleetwood Private Cellar Wines.

Fleetwood paid tribute to his late father, whose watch he wore to the ceremony and affectionately spoke about his mother, Bridget, who was in attendance.

"It's been a long time in dreaming of doing this," he said. "Mum, Mummy she knows way too much about me, but she knew me back in the day I was aspiring to play drums back when I was at the ripe old age of 9 or 10 years old. And mum and dad gave me part of their house, which were the stables, which we called Club Keller. And to me and mum, this [Fleetwood's on Front Street] is Club Keller. This was where I played drums, where I aspired to dream of going to London and began believing in something that might not be believable."
