Fleetwood Mac have 67 shows booked in 13 countries so far this year beginning April 4th in Columbus. The last date so far is October 25th in Finland. Australia and New Zealand are likely next and haven't been announced yet. Those shows will likely take place later this year.
Exciting times ahead... New music... New stage... New brightly coloured t-shirt on Lindsey... Wondering who will all be up on stage playing with them (Brett Tuggle's been confirmed)... Wondering about these 3 new songs... Wondering about the new old songs they've mentioned they may add back in to the set... You know, all the fun stuff you think about in anticipation.

What's interesting about "Everywhere" being back on the chart in the UK is it's most likely spurred on by the recent use of the song in Three's latest barmy TV advert featuring Socks the "Dancing Pony". The advert is hilarious and features Socks dancing to his favourite song, Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Everywhere’. He's quite the mover and can even moonwalk and Three are also inviting users to make their customised Pony dance over at PonyMixer.com.
With almost 850,000 views in just a few days it's apparent the commercial is impacting.
How bizarre that Fleetwood Mac's music is being used in two horse themed commercials this year. You'll recall Budweiser using "Landslide" in their Super Bowl ad this year featuring the Clydesdale. So far that commercial has had over 11 million views on youtube. Check it out if you haven't seen it HERE It's all good... Only adds up to more sales for the tunes and exposure to Fleetwood Mac.

Rumors Confirmed: Stevie Nicks at SXSW Fleetwood Mac frontwoman stars in two SX Film docs and more The Austin Chronicle
by: Raoul Hernandez
There's a good chance you'll be able to see or hear Stevie's interview via these SXSW sites.
Like Green Day on Monday, another South by Southwest confirmation came yesterday in Stevie Nicks, who bewitches the music conference in an interview with Ann Powers on Thursday, March 14, and also stars in a pair of SXSW Film docs.
The Film spread in this week’s Chronicle, both ours and SXSW’s, spilled a wealth of information as far as music’s concerned. The Fest’s “24 Beats Per Second” music series revealed inside looks at Austin’s Gourds (All the Labor), New Oreleans piano prince James Booker (Bayou Maharajah), and Detroit’s black punk siblings Death (A Band Called Death), among many others, including free Auditorium Shores Mexicans Molotov (Gimme the Power).
Nicks’ In Your Dreams, made by her and Eurythmics seer David Stewart during a 2010 collaboration on her album, also screens in the “24 Beats Per Second” round-up, Thu., March 14 at the Paramount Theatre. The night before, Wednesday, catch her in Dave Grohl’s Sound City, which throws back the curtain on an L.A. studio that birthed Nirvana’s Nevermind and Fleetwood Mac’s Rumors.
Tie-ins there are three: Nicks will guest in Grohl’s as-yet-unnanounced Sound City showcase; Fleetwood Mac’s new tour begins in April (with stops in Dallas on June 4, and then Houston the next day); and Rhino Records just reissued Rumors. Nicks’ appearance locally thus follows her Rumors co-star Lindsey Buckingham’s sold-out show at Antone’s last August and Rumors producer Ken Caillat in October for the Texas Book Festival.
Sound City clusters in SX Film’s “Special Events,” which features more music tie-ins in Asleep at the Wheel Then and Now and Mabon “Teenie” Hodges – A Portrait of a Memphis Soul Original. I’ll never forget a newly-sober Chan Marshall (Cat Power) gushing in my ear about working with the Hodges brothers in 2006. Only because she already swung through the Moody last month is Cat Power not coming to SXSW this year like everyone else.
Rumor has it Stevie Nicks still has the sound Mydesert
“We are a cast of characters who never really belonged in the same band in the first place,” says Buckingham, 63. “But the synergy works, and I’m looking forward to seeing where the mines lie in the field this time. It wouldn’t be a band without that tension. All the same things kick in. I know what I’m supposed to do. I know whose face to get in to make things happen. All those roles are so familiar. I’m ready to pick up the dice and roll again.”
“Rumours” was recorded during the breakups of the band’s two couples, Nicks and Buckingham and John and Christine McVie, who left in 1998. The three carried on, along with drummer Mick Fleetwood, and will launch an arena tour April 4. Nicks will perform a solo concert Saturday at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio.
Nicks, the most commercially successful Mac spinoff, finished a two-year tour supporting her lauded “In Your Dreams,” co-written and co-produced in her home with Dave Stewart. Since the release of “Seeds We Sow,” Buckingham has been touring with his band and in solo acoustic mode.
It was a confidence booster that improved his singing, he says. He’s aware Nicks is returning with greater spunk after her winning streak, which could set the stage for a clash.
Her solo outing “renewed Stevie’s spirit,” he says. “I’m happy she had a couple of great years. If it means a more complex political landscape, so be it.”
Buckingham’s solo foray “has been good for him,” says Nicks, 64. “Playing (one-man shows) can’t help but give you a certain compassionate softness. It’s very different from Fleetwood Mac.”
And while she declares the “Dreams” project with Stewart “the best year of my life,” Nicks is eager to return to Mac and determined to establish harmony.
“I’m going to be very clear about what I want,” she says. “What I want is for this band to get along and have a great time. So I’m demanding that. We are going to have a great collaborative working relationship. We’re always great on stage. I don’t say that from a conceited place. We’ve been playing since 1975. We know what we’re doing up there.”
Buckingham can’t argue with that.
“The important thing is for us not to let the politics or landmines get in the way of us having a good time, especially for Stevie and me,” he says. “There’s been a subtext of competition and animosity, which is the flip side of love, for a long time. I think it’s driven both of us. Now is an appropriate time for us to acknowledge the context of our relationship and see what’s left for us to do".
"If this is the beginning of the last act, let’s wind up in a place that dignifies what we started.”

Check out the new SXSW trailer for Stevie's film that will be screened at the Music and Film Conference on March 14th. There are new scenes in this 3 minute piece that haven't been shown before... Mick and Lindsey are seen recording at Stevie's home, plus I love the live footage included that was shot at 'In Your Dreams' CD Release Event at the Wiltern in Los Angeles in May, 2011. Hopefully that show was captured in it's entirety... Was a pretty exciting night!
