Excellent Quality Video via Warner Music: Stevie Nicks - 1977 Ahead of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours Tour

Stevie at home in 1977 speaking to an Australian reporter prior to Fleetwood Mac's Australian Rumours Tour that began in the fall of 1977.

Fleetwood Mac Tour at the end of next summer says Stevie Nicks - Interview

Stevie talking to CBS on the Grammy red carpet tells the reporter that Fleetwood Mac will be out on tour at
the end of next summer, plus she throws in she's looking forward to "two different tours next year" (what does that mean). She also says she would like to go out with Dave Grohl and his grunge army again because she had so much fun.

Wham Bam... Thank You Gram... Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks Grammy Coverage

While looking for signs of Lindsey Buckingham... Stevie Nicks kind of unexpectedly showed up at tonights Grammy's. With the focus being on Lindsey's performance and this awards show, it was a little surprising to see her there... But this is cool... Glad she went to celebrate a night of music and support the industry. She looked great as usual, made some waves on the Red Carpet with her arrival on the arm of Doug Morris Chairman and CEO of Sony Music Entertainment.  She hit a few news reporters along the way - Access Hollywood, The Insider, The Grammy's (you'll likely see video here in the coming days). She stopped to speak with Katy Perry who told Ryan Seacrest afterwards that she will be performing her latest single, “Dark Horse,” and that it was partly inspired by Stevie Nicks.  Katy's performance was dark, gothic and she was drapped in long flowing chiffon.  If that's the inspiration... I'll take that. It looked pretty good!  The song, not so much!

No sign of Lindsey on the red carpet which I total expected!  He was spotted during the telecast in the audience a couple of times, but that was about it until he took the stage with Dave Grohl, Trent Reznor and QOTSA... See below.

LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM performed a two song medley with Nine Inch Nails, Dave Grohl and Queens of the Stone Age.  We heard a really cool version of of "Copy of A" from Nine Inch Nails... Lindsey kicked it off with some finger picking which almost sounded like the opening of "Miranda", but sped up.. He sounded great, the whole song did.  The second song, "My God is the Sun" was a Queens of the Stone Age song... But the telecast was cut it off before they could finish to go to their sponsor ads! So frustrating! They could have waited just a minute or two more.  Anyway, for what we saw, Lindsey looked and sounded great!

Alternative rock all-star team ends 56th GRAMMY Awards with a mashup of Nine Inch Nails' "Copy of A" and Queens of the Stone Age's "My God Is the Sun."

Chart Updates: Fleetwood Mac | Stevie Nicks - US, UK, AU, NZ

US - February 1, 2014
The big news on the U.S. charts during this Grammy Awards week is that Fleetwood Mac's 1977 album "Rumours", is back on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart at No.200.  Rumours won the "Album of the Year" category at the 20th Annual Grammy Awards in 1978 - 36 years ago!  The album was also inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in January, 2003.  And TONIGHT... Lindsey performs on The 56th Annual Grammy Awards... The finale with Dave Grohl, Trent Reznor and QOTSA promises to be a memorable moment... so don't miss it.  8pm/7c CBS.

On a side note:
There has been a lot of confusion over the years when a press release comes out for the band, or for the individual members for various projects where the release will state "Multi-Grammy Award Winner" (insert name). Many have said this is false, they have only won one Grammy.  Where this comes from, is up until 1980 a self-produced artist received one GRAMMY Award as an artist and an additional GRAMMY Award as a producer in Record of the Year and Album of the Year categories. In the case of "Rumours" winning "Album of the Year" in 1978, not only did producers Ken Caillat and Richard Dashut take home a Grammy for producing, but each member of Fleetwood Mac did as well.  As Artists, each member took home a Grammy and as Producers each member took home a Grammy.

Grohl, Reznor, QOTSA and Lindsey Buckingham to perform 2 song medley

Grammy Rehearsal break-down.. This is an excerpt of the full article at Billboard

The Reznor-Grohl-QOTSA outfit took the stage and spent a good 15 minutes getting the drum and electronics sound correct before rehearsing the song.

They, like all of the 21 scheduled performances, run through the song four times. They then bring in the lights, camera and effects for another four run-throughs.

A voice boomed over the PA -- "Dave wants more shaker" -- after one run-through and as they set about building their two-song medley (GRAMMY organizers want us to keep it a secret), they very loudly applied one layer atop the other.
