"A GREAT time at lunch with some members of the Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks family."

Somethings cookin' over at the Nicks residence and it may be more than lunch... Dave Rahn, Production Co-ordinator and Catering Manager for Stevie's 2010-2011 tour and Fleetwood Mac's Catering Manager on the 2009 Unleashed Tour posted this photo yesterday with the caption:

"A GREAT time at lunch with some members of the Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks family. Love this group of people!"

Not in the photo, but also there and had just left apparently was Waddy Wachtel.  The photo was taken yesterday (July 31st) and appears to have been taken at Stevie's home.

(From left) Sharon Celani, Carlos Rios, Karen Johnston, Dave Rahn, Kellianne Murphy, Jimmy Paxson, Sheryl Louis, Brett Tuggle and Eilynn Chapman.  On the floor... Stevie's little Yorkie Sulamith.

A lot of familiar faces connected to Stevie either solo or with Fleetwood Mac. Sharon of course sings back on everything Stevie does whether solo or with Fleetwood Mac. Carlos has mainly been backing up Stevie on her solo ventures. Karen is Stevie's Assistant. Kellianne is one of Stevie's god daughters and if you saw the In Your Dreams Documentary, she was sprinkled all through the video. She did all the cooking at the big house during the recording of the album. Jimmy is Stevie's solo band drummer. Sheryl Louis is Stevie's Manager. Brett supports Stevie and Lindsey solo and has been part of the back up musicians on Fleetwood Mac's past 3 or 4 tours. Eilynn is Stevie's makup artist for everything Stevie does. Not shown, was Waddy Wachtel who of course is Stevie's Musical Director and co-Producer of her new album "24 Karat Gold - Songs From The Vault".

Of particular interest is the presence of Waddy Wachtel, Carlos Rios and Jimmy Paxson - which leads me to believe this was more of a Stevie (solo) meeting rather than something to do with Fleetwood Mac.  Just a guess of course.

2 Photos: Stevie Nicks video shoot

Director Paul Boyd posted these photos below to his instagram account last night. One photo shows a camera crane in a theatre. The theatre pic (United Artists Theatre in Los Angeles) suggests they filmed the video in LA (and not Nashville) as a live performance on stage. No description on the photo with Dave and Stevie except to say "Rock Royalty". This looks like it could be the team behind Stevie's video shoot taken Monday in LA...

It's unconfirmed which song they filmed the video for.

DATE CHANGE: Stevie Nicks New Album Previews on Instagram now begin Aug 4th

Stevie Nicks "24 Karat Gold -- Songs From The Vault" Album Previews have been moved up a day... Originally scheduled to begin Tuesday, August 5th, the TWICE weekly posts will begin Monday August 4th!!

Make sure to follow Stevie on instagram

Stevie's back in Nashville? PLUS Video shoot scheduled for Monday!

Today (July 28th)...

Well this is GOOD news... Looks like we'll see at least one video for Stevie's new album, and by video I also mean a single!

Director Paul Boyd of Dave Stewart Entertainment posted on his facebook page that he has a Stevie Nicks video shoot coming up on Monday... Also today Kaya Stewart posted on her instagram that she was back in Nashville with Stevie Nicks.  Do these two situations collide?  Are they shooting the video in Nashville? Is Kaya in the video like she was in Moonlight (A Vampire's Dream)?  Is Kaya playing/singing on Stevie's new album?  So many questions!  Or are these two completely separate situations and Stevie will be back in LA for Monday to film!  Interesting things happening.... Hopefully the video won't take months to get out there to the people.

Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" spends 4th week on Billboard Top 200

The 1977 album re-entered the Billboard Top 200 albums chart on July 12th at No.139 moving all the way up to No.99 on the July 19, 2014 chart - then falling back down to No.135 on the chart dated July 24, 2014.  This week the album continues to move down ending the July 20th sales period at No.143.  An interesting note is that 37 years ago this week the album was No.1 in the U.S. for the 12th non-consecutive week.  The album also moves down slightly on the top 50 catalogue chart to No.25.

In the UK, the album never seems to leave the catalogue sales chart. This week it moves down to No.23 from No.20 last week.

In Australia, 1988's Greatest Hits and 2002's 2-CD The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac continue to be the albums of choice for Australians.  Greatest Hits moves down to No.76 with The Very Best Of moving up to No.78 from No.82 last week.  The Dance DVD re-enters the Top 40 DVD Music Chart this week. In Ireland Rumours re-enters the top 100 at No.89 with The Very Best Of moving down to No.85.

Tom Petty says it was hard to sum up his friendship with Stevie Nicks

In this excerpt taken from a much larger interview piece written in the Toronto Sun, interviewer Jane Stevenson lists her 5 essential Tom Petty songs... Her favourite being "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around".

She wrote:

"One of my favourite Tom Petty songs is Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, a duet with Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks, the first single from her 1981 solo debut, Bella Donna.

It was written by Petty and Mike Campbell as a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers song, but producer Jimmy Iovine, who was also working for Stevie Nicks at the time, arranged for her to sing on it. (The original version without Nicks appears on the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' 1995 box set Playback.) Petty says it was hard to sum up their friendship.

"Have you got a couple of hours? She's a good friend. I've know her since 1978 and she's insisted on being in my life (laughs). Some of my best musical memories of her are sitting on the couch and just playing the guitar while she sings."

Sadly, there's no new Nicks duets on Petty and the Heartbreakers new album, Hypnotic Eye: "There are no girls in the Heartbeakers," he says."

Counting down Petty's 20 biggest smashes with the Heartbreakers and beyond
Billboard recently ran down Tom Petty's Top 20 Billboard Hot 100 Hits. Tom and Stevie's live duet "Needles and Pins" from the "Pack Up The Plantation" Album came in at No.16 and Stevie and Tom's duet "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" from "Bella Donna" was selected as No.1. Selections were based on their Hot 100 chart performance.
